The purpose of Bethlehem Beginnings is to:
- Provide a Christian learning experience for young children;
- Help Christian parents bring their children to Jesus so they may better know His love and example;
- Provide an environment where each child can grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically;
- Provide warm relationships with adults and other children so that each child can grow toward independence with a sense of his or her own unique worth;
- Help each child develop behavior patterns based on self-control and a desire to show love to others;
- Acquaint children with school life, routines, and responsibilities.
Bethlehem Beginnings is a part of Bethlehem Lutheran School.
Sessions
There are three preschool sessions. The three-year-old class meets on Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:25 am until 11:25 am. The morning four-year-old session is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:25 am until 11:25 am. We also have an afternoon four-year-old session that meets on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons from 12:15 pm to 3:15 pm. Each class needs a minimum of 12 students and will not exceed 20 students with a teacher and an aide.
We also offer childcare for children as an extention to our preschool families who need care for their children beyond the hours of preschool.
